We’re excited to invite you to our Saltwater Tongues event series, a creative community gathering where poetry meets environmental justice.


Last year, we heard stunning poems about marine mammals, bull kelp, and the sense of connection people have to the ocean, along with many other profound stories.


Join us Saturday, June 6th, at Caffe Fantastico (Quadra Village) for an evening that welcomes everyone to listen, share, and speak into being a more just and resilient future.


This year, we're co-hosting this event with Georgia Strait Alliance, the BC Climate Emergency Campaign, and the University of Victoria Sustainability Project. Together we want to explore how climate intersects with the Salish Sea, and what it means to live in coastal communities in these times.
